Due to other obligations (work related) I have not been doing much fishing until just recently. When I went Thursday 3-15-18 on Cheatham Lake the water was still in the high forties and low fifties late in the day. It was slow but I did manage to catch a 4 and a 5 lber as you can see from the attached pictures. The main lake or river was somewhat stained but the creeks and the Harpeth River were slightly better in relation to temperature and clarity. As you can see the smaller fish would ordinarily be a 3 lber and was 4 because of the belly. The other fish should have been a 6 lber and was only 5 because it was skinny. Both were caught flipping a black and blue jig with a craw trailer around wood.
